Bullmastiff

A relatively quit dog that is known not to bark often the Bullmastiff is historically developed around 1860 from the English Mastiff and Old English Bulldog. Developed as a guard dog that would track quietly.

The Bullmastiff is also the precursor stock of many bull breeds around the world and most recently the American Bully. As such the breed is considered a good candidate in many American Bully breeding programs.
