The Shorty Bull is a breed in development that consists primarily of three different breeds. These include the English Bulldog, French Bulldog, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Breeds that should not be considered in the mix are Olde English Bulldogs, Pugs, and Boston Terriers. The initial developers, Amy Krogman and co-founder Jamie Sweet expressly have stated Pugs, and Boston Terriers should not be considered. The stated purpose of this breed's development was to develop a breed of good temperament, strength, and functionality without the need for assisted breeding or whelping. A good specimen of the developing Shorty Bull breed should be capable of living an active life.

All colors except Merle and black and tan are acceptable.
Nose:
All colors are acceptable but should complement the color of the dog. Dudley noses (affected by depigmentation) should be considered a cosmetic fault.
Bite:
Slightly undershot preferred, but scissor is alright and should not be considered a fault. Severe under-bite to the point the tongue does not remain in the oral cavity should be considered a fault.
Eyes:
All colors are acceptable, including blue and single blue eyes.
Ears:
Wide on the head but not too high or low. Rose or erect ears are a significant show fault but can be corrected surgically for show purposes. Both cropped and uncropped are acceptable.
Movement:
Movement should be natural and appear without labor.
Back:
Square to a slight rise in loins is acceptable. Roach, sway, or wheel backed considered a fault.
Tail:
May be bobbed, docked, or screwed, but it should be short. If docked should be at the 3rd vertebrae.

No, providing genealogy / pedigree information (such as your dog’s parents) is not required. However, if such genealogy / pedigree information is known it should be submitted for inclusion and research. The level of pedigree that you receive with registration is based on a combination of what you submit and what our research reveals based on your initial input.

+ Litter registration is based on litter size.
+ Each individual pup for the first 10 pups = $10 per pup.

+ No. In order to register a litter both parents must however meet one of our accepted breed class standards.
